KingHost Launches Cybersecurity Tool to Protect Websites and Apps

KingHost, the LWSA-owned Software as a Service (SaaS) company, has announced the launch of a new cybersecurity tool designed to protect applications and websites from cyberattacks.The Web Application Firewall (WAF) is now available to KingHost Hosting, Cloud and VPS customers and will be released soon to the general public.

In the first six months of 2024, the tool blocked about 7.5 million suspicious events and detected approximately 9.9 million suspicious activity on client sites and applications. According to the Sitelock Report 2022, websites receive 5.5 times more traffic from bots than from human users, with 60% of this malicious traffic.
