Pioneer: iCasei launches the first presence confirmation via WhatsApp in the market

iCasei, a pioneer platform in the segment of wedding websites and gift lists, has a new functionality that promises to facilitate the RSVP. Guests no longer need to leave the messaging app and can confirm their presence at the wedding through WhatsApp itself. The company is the first in the industry to offer this feature in the market.

The novelty comes to complement the existing options of the platform, which accepts confirmations through the couples’ website, through the app, or by phone contact. With RSVP via WhatsApp, iCasei reinforces its commitment to always seek to develop new tools and functionalities that make the experience of couples and guests increasingly practical and efficient.

The choice to include WhatsApp as a means for confirming attendance aligns with data from Statista, specializing in data monitoring, which shows that over 96% of Brazilians are active users of the messaging app.

“We believe that RSVP through WhatsApp will be a differential for iCasei’s clients. We understand the importance of facilitating communication, as well as ensuring that all guests are well-informed about the wedding. The functionality was developed to provide greater convenience and efficiency, offering couples a platform adapted to contemporary needs,” explains Diego Magnani, CCO of iCasei.

The exclusive feature is available in the Black plan, the most comprehensive on the site. To use the new functionality and allow iCasei to send messages via WhatsApp requesting confirmation of attendance at the event, the couple needs to include the guests’ details and enable the feature on the platform.

The frequency of message sending is defined by the couple, being able to be triggered uniquely, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Additionally, it is possible to choose the initial and final dates for sending and the deadline for guest responses. In the dashboard, the couple can track a real-time report with the statuses of the messages and confirmations received.
