The PagBank, a complete digital bank in financial services and payment methods, elected the best PJ account by the iDinheiro portal and one of the main digital banks in Brazil, announces the Hacka PagBank, its first hackathon with open registration also for university students. The event will take place on November 9 and 10, at the PagBank headquarters in São Paulo.
Held twice a year by the digital bank, Hacka PagBank is an internal event that involves the voluntary participation of employees from different areas of PagBank, where they work together during the event days to develop innovative strategies for solving challenges. For the November edition, PagBank decided to innovate by inviting university students to join the professionals of their team, contribute with ideas, and exchange experiences.
The challenge will be in-person, lasting more than 30 hours, with the aim of creating an environment conducive to meaningful exchanges between professionals and students, resulting in innovative solutions that help shape the future of PagBank. According to Cesar Leite, CTO of PagBank, “the new edition of Hacka PagBank is an evolution of the project, following the PagBank’s culture of innovation and technology as a principle, as well as being a great opportunity to bring experienced professionals together with promising talents in real challenges that will result in actionable ideas”.
To participate in the Hacka PagBank, you need to be a university student, be studying from the 6th semester of graduation or have 70% of the course completed at the time of registration for the event, in areas related to technology, namely: Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Systems Analysis and Development. In addition, the university student must be over 18 years old and available to participate in the challenge in person in the capital of São Paulo.
The three teams that present the best proposals in the end, following parameters of creativity, disruption, and synergy with the purpose of PagBank, to facilitate the financial lives of people and businesses, will receive special prizes. Registrations are open and can be made until October 7th, on the Gupy website.
