IMBAT, a company specializing in the design and development of personal protective and safety equipment (PPE) and related products for the construction materials industry, has partnered with TOTVS, Brazil’s largest technology company. The Minas Gerais-based company now relies on various TOTVS systems to digitize and improve its management, as well as obtain reliable, real-time information about its operations.
“IMBAT faces the challenge of doubling its revenue by 2025. Therefore, it requires an integrated management system that provides agility, professionalization, and process efficiency. The implementation of TOTVS Backoffice – Protheus Line will help IMBAT become more efficient, competitive, and scalable. And we’re not stopping there; we want to strengthen our partnership with TOTVS by implementing new ERP solutions after GO LIVE,” says Maria de Lourdes de Aguiar, IMBAT’s CFO and Sponsor.
Among the solutions chosen by IMBAT is the TOTVS Backoffice – Protheus Line, a robust and flexible ERP, composed of modules that cover all of the company’s back-office operations. Its modules work in an integrated manner, simplifying routines, reducing operational errors, and eliminating manual scanning and rework, ensuring greater efficiency in the administrative back office. To complement the use of the management system, the company also contracted My Protheus App, an application developed to bring flexibility and agility in approvals and interactivity with processes resulting from the ERP.
Another solution chosen by IMBAT is the TOTVS Foreign Trade, aimed at companies operating in foreign trade, whether as exporters, importers, or both. With the system, the company can manage the entire logistics and sales process, relationships with suppliers and brokers, foreign currency receivables, multi-currency payments and receipts, special tax regimes, as well as cost planning and forecasting, all integrated with the ERP.
Finally, IMBAT also invested in TOTVS Cloud, TOTVS’ proprietary cloud, uses the PaaS (platform as a service) model for managing TOTVS systems, generating productivity, performance, and security gains, as well as cost reductions in operations. Furthermore, all environment management is performed through T-Cloud, TOTVS Cloud’s exclusive platform, where users can perform actions such as hiring and configuring resources, managing access rules, backing up and restoring virtual machines, monitoring contracted resources, and more—all with complete autonomy.
“Given the intense market competition, it’s important for companies to invest in digitalizing their management, integrating processes and increasing efficiency. Technology is also valuable in allowing companies to obtain comprehensive data on their operations, facilitating decision-making. We are very committed to improving IMBAT’s management with our solutions,” emphasizes Gerson Carvalho, director of TOTVS Belo Horizonte.
