A TNS, a global connectivity and complete payment solutions company, announced the hiring of Valeria Carrete as Commercial Director for Latin AmericaWith a career spanning over 30 years in payment methods, retail, and telecommunications, Valéria arrives with the mission of leading TNS's expansion in Brazilian and Latin American retail, offering connectivity solutions that guarantee performance and security for the payments ecosystem, thus expanding the company's presence in the market, focusing on store chains, autonomous markets, and self-service terminals.
Valéria has worked for major companies such as American Express, Transire, TIM, Ponto Frio, and R2U Realidade Aumentada. Currently, the new director is also a member of the BRICS Business Council, contributing to discussions and initiatives that shape the future of financial services, trade, and innovation among the world's fastest-growing economies. She also serves as Vice President of Issuers at Pagos, an electronic payment management association. She holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV (FGV), a specialization in Marketing (ESPM), an International Executive MBA (USP), and an MBA in Omnichannel Retail (ESPM).
