Samsung Ads launches exclusive Click to Linear solution and innovates interaction between digital and linear TV

Samsung Ads, the advertising arm for Smart TVs at Samsung Electronics, announces the launch of Click to Linear, a pioneering solution in the Brazilian market that provides an additional click-through targeting possibility for the brand's connected TV campaigns.

With the new Call to Action (CTA), advertisers can direct the audience of their campaigns, which are displayed in first-screen formats, directly to open linear TV channels.

Previously, redirects already included streaming apps, music apps, Samsung TV Plus channels, and microsites, and now Click to Linear creates an unprecedented bridge between digital and linear, where the ad gains a new layer of interactivity, combining technology, audience, and reach in a single solution. This reinforces Samsung Ads' role as a strategic partner for brands and media players seeking to enhance their CTV campaigns.

The new functionality is expected to stand out especially among brands that sponsor major live events, such as reality shows or sports broadcasts, and wish to expand the audience for their activations on open TV channels. It is also a valuable solution for broadcasters looking to promote their content natively and with high engagement within the Samsung ecosystem.

With over 23.4 million active and connected Smart TVs in Brazil, totaling more than 2 billion monthly hours of content consumption, Samsung Ads strengthens its leadership role in the convergence of technology, media, and behavior. Today, 65% of devices consume linear TV, reinforcing the potential of the new functionality to impact large audiences in an integrated and measurable way.
