Razer, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the launch of its most innovative AI-powered game development tools on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This marks a significant step forward for the company, which will bring its powerful solutions to the cloud, increasing scalability and providing easier access for millions of game developers around the world.
With 3,32 billion gamers worldwide and a market projected to reach $424 billion in the next decade, the gaming industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Mobile and cloud gaming are seeing their barriers to entry increasingly lower, while AI is transforming virtual worlds into smarter, more immersive experiences.
Designed to expand the capabilities of game developers using AWS generative AI services – such as Amazon Bedrock –, the Razer Game Assistant and Razer QA Companion tools are integrated into the WYVRN, Razer's next-generation gaming ecosystem that was created specifically for game developers and is powered by artificial intelligence.
Developers Empowered with AI-Powered Automation
First unveiled as Project AVA at CES 2025, the Razer Game Assistant uses advanced AI to provide real-time tips, personalized guidance, post-match analysis, and hardware performance insights. Trained with genre-specific and game-specific data and seamlessly integrated into gameplay, this technology elevates the player experience and marks the beginning of a new era in gaming, now powered by AI.

Razer QA Companion is an AI-powered quality assurance tool that transforms the way game testing is performed. Like an intelligent assistant, it automatically detects and records bugs, crashes, and performance issues, allowing human testers to focus on the game experience. The system can be easily integrated into QA teams’ workflows and, among its benefits, increases process efficiency, shortens development cycles, and improves the final quality of the game. In addition to being compatible with Unreal, Unity, and other custom C++ engines, it offers ready-made templates adapted to different genres, which speeds up the start of testing without requiring manual programming.

To further expand the capabilities of QA Companion, Razer is partnering with Side, a global service provider for the gaming industry, to jointly develop advanced automated testing tools. The initiative combines Razer’s technology with Side’s world-renowned quality assurance expertise and aims to explore new approaches to QA automation. The collaboration promises to increase testing efficiency and significantly reduce time-to-release for games, benefiting both developers and end users.
Innovation at scale with AWS
Following a keynote presentation at the Game Developers Conference 2025, Razer is expanding access to its AI Game Development Tools through AWS’s secure and scalable infrastructure. This expansion enables developers around the world to streamline their processes, increase productivity, and accelerate the development of new games. The tools are currently in beta testing with AAA and independent studios as part of Razer’s vision to power the future of AI gaming.
Both tools are built on Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) service that enables Razer to integrate choice models efficiently, cost-effectively, and securely, leveraging the scalability of the cloud to meet today’s developer demands. As a cloud-native solution, QA Companion accelerates testing cycles, improves bug detection, and enables faster releases, all for higher-quality, faster delivery times.
“With the launch of Razer AI Development Tools, we are excited to strengthen our partnership with AWS,” said Quyen Quach, Vice President of Software at Razer. “Razer has been leading innovation in gaming for two decades, and now we are paving the way for the future with AI. By combining our rapid prototyping with the scalability of the AWS cloud, we are enabling the next generation of game development and creation technologies. These tools provide developers with a powerful and accessible way to scale, reduce time to market, and enhance the player experience.”
“The gaming industry has been pushing the boundaries of emerging technologies and transforming the way games are developed and played,” said Gunish Chawla, General Manager, ASEAN Commercial Sector, Amazon Web Services. “Our collaboration with Razer demonstrates how developing AI tools for gameplay assistance and QA testing in the cloud can accelerate innovation in studios while maintaining quality and benefiting developers and gamers around the world.”
Coming soon to the AWS Marketplace
Razer Game Assistant and QA Companion will soon be available on AWS Marketplace, making it easier for developers to access generative AI tools that transform the game creation process. With a simplified procurement process, the AWS Marketplace platform will enable studios to quickly integrate these solutions into their production pipelines, accelerate innovation, and bring their products to market.
