Qlik expands global impact with the Qlik Cares program.

Qlik® a global company in data integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI), announced the launch of Qlik Cares, a redesigned and expanded program aimed at transforming how the company supports nonprofit organizations. While Qlik has provided data and over $40 million in analytics support to hundreds of socially purpose-driven organizations for more than 15 years, Qlik Cares represents a deeper, more collaborative model—mobilizing technology, expertise, and people across the Qlik ecosystem to generate measurable and scalable results.

“For Direct Relief, data is not only the lifeblood of our humanitarian logistics systems, but also an essential form of aid,” shares Andrew Schroeder, Vice President of Research and Analytics at Direct Relief. “Qlik is our partner in daily analytics to meet the medical needs of communities around the world, as well as a close collaborator in efforts to advance the use of new data sources, machine learning, and AI for public benefit in times of crisis. They are a fundamental part of how we fulfill our mission.”

With Qlik Cares, eligible organizations will have discounted access to Qlik's full portfolio — including data integration, analytics, and AI — as well as pro bono support from Qlik employees, partners, university students, and customers for projects. Qlik Cares will continue to focus on the pillars of climate action, global health and equity, humanitarian aid, and education. The program will continue to support organizations in making smarter, faster, and data-driven decisions where it matters most.

“In this time of global need, we are proud to enhance our Qlik Cares program to mobilize resources from multiple angles—our platform, our people, and our ecosystem—to accelerate the missions of those solving society’s biggest challenges,” says Julie Kae, Vice President of Sustainability and CEO of Qlik.org. “Solutions require access to data, technology, and a deep understanding of how to set priorities and actionable goals. This is knowledge that only Qlik and our ecosystem of talented and experienced partners specializing in data-driven solutions can offer.”

The new features of Qlik Cares include:

Expanded access : Global nonprofits can now sign up for discounted access to the full suite of Qlik tools — from AutoML and data integration to analytics and generative AI.

– Pro bono engagement : Projects will range from one-hour training sessions to multi-month initiatives — such as app development, ETL building, and AI readiness workshops — conducted by Qlik employees and certified partners.

– Connection Portal : A centralized Qlik Cares portal, launching by the end of this year, will connect organizations with available Qlik experts, including university students, and resources for high-impact data projects.

– Hackathons focused on results : Qlik is expanding its support for hackathons, ensuring that solutions move from demonstration to implementation — providing support for critical real-world use cases.

“Access to clean and useful data is essential to delivering aid quickly and effectively in crisis zones, but this is not something most humanitarian organizations can do alone,” says Heidi Cockram, CIO of Medair. “Qlik’s support, both in technology and practical expertise, has helped us accelerate how we manage information in the field. This is a true partnership, based on trust, agility, and a shared commitment to saving lives.”

“In humanitarian operations, timely and informed decision-making is vital, and access to reliable data should never be a barrier when lives are at stake,” says Taco van het Reve, Managing Director of cimt. “As a long-standing Qlik partner, cimt is proud to support the humanitarian organization Medair.”

Qlik Cares is a company-wide initiative, embedded across all functions and products. Volunteers from various departments are already signing up to contribute their time and talent, and partners are working to provide comprehensive services. From AI expertise to ETL consulting, the program will leverage all points of the Qlik ecosystem to meet organizations where they are—and take them where they need to go with their data.

To learn more about how to participate, nonprofits seeking support or a Qlik partner ready to contribute can visit qlik.org . The Qlik Cares Portal will be launched soon, expanding opportunities for connection, contribution, and collective impact. Qlik believes that data is the world's most powerful resource and, therefore, should serve those who need it most.
