A Private Construction Company, specialized in logistics and corporate projects, just launched thePrivate Log, the largest sustainable logistics warehouse in Brazil. Located in Vitória, Holy Spirit, the development has more than 620 thousand square meters of Gross Leasable Area (GLA), uniting high operational capacity with a firm commitment to sustainability and innovation. With an investment of R$2 billion, the complex responds to the growing demand of the logistics sector, standing out for incorporating modern and sustainable solutions that align with the main global trends in green building
The project obtained four important international certifications, including BREEAM, that evaluates the environmental impact of the project in aspects such as energy use, water, waste management and CO₂ emissions. Furthermore, obtained the WELL Building Standard certifications, focused on the well-being of the occupants, FSC, that ensures the use of materials from responsible sources, and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), that validates energy efficiency and minimizes environmental impact
According to Mateus Vitoria Oliveira, CEO of Private Construction Company, The Private Log is a model of operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. The project was developed to meet the needs of the logistics sector with a high standard of quality and performance, "while incorporating sustainable solutions that minimize environmental impact and meet global efficiency criteria", explain Oliveira. The logistics sector is responsible for about 21% of global greenhouse gas emissions, according to UN data, and Brazil contributes 6% of national emissions, totaling approximately 139 million tons of CO2 annually, according to data from the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education (Setec)
The strategic location of Vitória was a decisive factor for the success of the project. The state, that is connected to 70% of the Brazilian GDP within a radius of 1.200 km, provides excellent connectivity with the main logistical routes of the country, facilitating access to consumers and businesses. For Oliveira, the choice of the area was due to its "high connectivity with the country's logistics routes, what facilitates access to the consumer market and provides operational advantages for companies that use the warehouse in their logistics operations.”
The Private Log was designed with a modern infrastructure aimed at reducing environmental impact. The project integrates energy efficiency solutions, such as LED lighting systems and the use of solar energy, in addition to practices to optimize water consumption and reduce carbon emissions. The implementation of these solutions reflects the growing demand for more responsible practices in the logistics sector, that aims to meet the demands of sustainability and energy efficiency
The warehouse also stands out for the flexibility and adaptability of its spaces. With a variety of layouts and the possibility of customizing the environments, the project caters to different types of companies, of various sizes and segments. This versatility, allied to high operational capacity and sustainability standards, makes the project a strategic option for companies looking to optimize their logistics operations while aligning with trends in social and environmental responsibility
With the launch of the Private Log, Private Construtora positions itself as one of the main players in the sustainable construction movement in Brazil. The project reflects the pursuit of efficient and responsible solutions, meeting the growing demands of the market and contributing to strengthening the position of Espírito Santo as a center of logistical excellence in the country
