Private Construtora, specialized in logistics and corporate projects, has just launched thePrivate Logthe largest sustainable logistics warehouse in Brazil. Located in Vitória, Espírito Santo, the development has over 620,000 square meters of Gross Leasable Area (GLA), combining high operational capacity with a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation. With an investment of R$2 billion, the complex responds to the growing demand of the logistics sector, standing out for incorporating modern and sustainable solutions that follow the main global trends in green building.
The project obtained four important international certifications, including BREEAM, which assesses the environmental impact of the project in aspects such as energy use, water, waste management, and CO₂ emissions. Additionally, it obtained certifications such as WELL Building Standard, focused on occupant well-being, FSC, which ensures the use of materials from responsible sources, and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), which validates energy efficiency and environmental impact minimization.
According to Mateus Vitoria Oliveira, CEO of Private Construtora, Private Log is a model of operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. "The project was developed to meet the needs of the logistics sector with high standards of quality and performance, while also incorporating sustainable solutions that minimize environmental impact and meet global efficiency criteria," explains Oliveira. The logistics sector is responsible for about 21% of global greenhouse gas emissions, according to UN data, and Brazil contributes 6% of national emissions, totaling approximately 139 million tons of CO2 annually, according to the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education (Setec).
The strategic location of Vitória was a decisive factor for the success of the project. The state, which is connected to 70% of the Brazilian GDP within a 1,200 km radius, provides excellent connectivity with the country's main logistics routes, facilitating access to consumers and businesses. For Oliveira, the choice of the area was due to its "high connectivity with the country's logistics routes, which facilitates access to the consumer market and provides operational advantages for companies that use the warehouse in their logistics operations."
The Private Log was designed with a modern infrastructure focused on reducing environmental impact. The project integrates energy efficiency solutions, such as LED lighting systems and the use of solar energy, as well as practices to optimize water consumption and reduce carbon emissions. The implementation of these solutions reflects the growing demand for more responsible practices in the logistics sector, which seeks to meet sustainability and energy efficiency requirements.
The warehouse also stands out for the flexibility and adaptability of its spaces. With a variety of layouts and the possibility of customizing the environments, the project caters to different types of companies, of various sizes and sectors. This versatility, combined with high operational capacity and sustainability standards, makes the project a strategic option for companies seeking to optimize their logistics operations while aligning with social and environmental responsibility trends.
With the launch of Private Log, Private Construtora positions itself as one of the main players in the sustainable construction movement in Brazil. The project reflects the pursuit of efficient and responsible solutions, meeting the growing demands of the market and contributing to strengthening Espírito Santo's position as an excellent logistics hub in the country.
