Guests no longer need to leave the messaging app and can confirm their attendance at the wedding directly through WhatsApp. The company is the first in the industry to offer the feature in the market.
The new feature is added to complement the existing options on the platform, which accepts confirmations via the couple's website, the app, or by phone contact. With RSVP via WhatsApp, iCasei reinforces its commitment to continuously develop new tools and features that make the experience for couples and guests increasingly practical and efficient.
The choice to include WhatsApp as a means of confirming attendance is based on data from Statista, a data monitoring company, which shows that over 96% of Brazilians are active users of the messaging app.
"We believe that RSVP via WhatsApp will be a differentiator for iCasei's clients. We know the importance of facilitating communication, as well as ensuring that all guests are well-informed about the wedding. The feature was developed to provide greater convenience and efficiency, offering couples a platform tailored to contemporary needs," explains Diego Magnani, iCasei's CCO.
The exclusive feature is available in the Black plan, the most comprehensive on the site. To use the new feature and allow iCasei to send WhatsApp messages requesting RSVP confirmation for the event, the couple needs to include the guests' information and enable the feature on the platform.
The message sending frequency is determined by the couple and can be triggered once, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Additionally, it is possible to choose the start and end dates of the submissions and the deadline day for the guests' responses. On the panel, the bride and groom can monitor a real-time report with thestatusof messages and confirmations received.
