NVIDIA announces financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026

NVIDIA announced the financial results for the first quarter of its new fiscal year, ending on April 27, 2025, with revenue ofUS$ 44.1 billion, representing an increase of12%regarding the previous quarter and of69%compared to the previous year.  

Our supercomputerBlackwell NVL72AI, a 'thinking machine' designed for reasoning, is now in large-scale production with system manufacturers and cloud service providers," saysJensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.

"The global demand for NVIDIA's AI infrastructure is incredibly strong. The generation of AI inference tokens has increased tenfold in just one year, and as AI agents become commonplace, the demand for AI computing accelerates. Countries around the world are recognizing AI as essential infrastructure — just like electricity and the internet — and NVIDIA is at the heart of this profound transformation," Huang concludes.

NVIDIA leads the new era of AI with records, partnerships, and global expansion 

During the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year, the divisionNVIDIA's Data Center reported a revenue of $39.1 billiona 10% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 73% increase compared to the same period last year.

An NVIDIA:

  • Is buildingfactoriesin the United Statesand collaborating with partners to produce AI supercomputers in the country;
  • Announced their partnership with theHUMAIN to build AI factories inKingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Revealed theStargate UAEa state-of-the-art AI infrastructure cluster located in Abu DhabiUnited Arab Emirates;
  • Revealed plans to work with theFoxconn and the Taiwanese governmentto build a supercomputer for an AI factory;
  • He/She highlighted that his/her platformBlackwellset records in inference resultsMLPerf, achieving up to 30 times better performance;   
  • Announced the opening of anew research center in Japan, that shelters theworld's largest quantum research supercomputer

NVIDIA reports solid growth in professional visualization and automotive revenue, despite quarterly challenges 

During the first quarter, the revenue from the professional viewing segment wasUS$ 509 millionstable compared to the previous quarter and19%larger compared to the previous year.  

In the automotive segment, the revenue for the first quarter wasUS$ 567 million, a fall of1%compared to the previous quarter, but an increase of72%compared to the same quarter of last year.

Marcio Aguiar, director of the Enterprise division at NVIDIA Latin America, emphasizes: "These results reflect our commitment to innovation and expansion in the region, positioning us as a key partner in the digital transformation of Latin American companies. We drive the adoption of AI and advanced technologies that have a real impact on their businesses."

NVIDIA's outlook for the second quarter 

The expected revenue is ofUS$ 45 billion, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2%. This forecast reflects a revenue loss of approximately US$ 8 billion in the semester due to recent export control restrictions.
