Mercado Bitcoin (MB) announced that it is implementing ChatGPT Enterprise, company for research and implementation of AI. The pillar of this implementation is the technological evolution of the MB, through the implementation of AI across all fronts, transforming organizational culture for the sake of innovation. The first areas with use cases for the new tools were Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance and HR
The contact between the institutions began in December 2022, however, the negotiation of the Enterprise package only took place in June of this year. The differential of the service contracted by MB is that the transacted data cannot be used for training the LLM (large language models), ensuring that the company's intellectual property is preserved. Other corporations that use this version are Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Oxford University, SoftBank, Government of the United States and the pharmaceutical company Moderna
Furthermore, the MB is periodically monitoring the platform to understand the frequency of use by employees and the complexity of the tasks being performed with the help of AI. In this sense, champion-named groups were created, which total 17 professionals who excelled in the use of generative technology in MB and are responsible for collaborating to ensure that the implementation of this resource is expanded to other employees

The next steps are focused on the HR area and the development of a virtual assistant. The recruitment and selection processes will be conducted through AI until the first phase of interviews. The virtual assistant will be used to resolve customer requests smoothly and with operational efficiency, ensuring that the user will remain on the same screen throughout the service journey. The goal is for the tool to cater to different languages, corroborating with the company's internationalization strategy
With 4 million customers in 11 years of operation, MB reaffirms its commitment to responsible innovation. The implementation of AI will follow the Responsible AI methodology, ensuring that technology complements, and do not replace, human capabilities
