Mecanizou, a startup that connects auto repair shops with auto parts suppliers, begins the second semester of 2024 with an impressive 110% growth, surpassing last year's performance. The company plans to double the number of offices served on its platform by the end of the year, reaching 5,000 clients.
In May, Mecanizou expanded its operations to new areas of São Paulo and the city of Guarulhos, responding to the high demand in regions previously not served. Currently, the startup has over 300 suppliers and a database with 1 million automotive parts.
“Thanks to our expansion in May, we achieved significant growth in the first half of the year and we expect to end the year with a four-fold increase compared to 2023. This will strengthen our presence in the sector, fostering innovation and improving our operations. Reaching the target of 5,000 workshops this year will allow us to increase our visibility and introduce new technologies in new regions,” says Ian Faria, co-founder and CEO of Mecanizou.
Registration on the platform is quick and completely online, offering mechanics benefits such as discounts, various installment options and time optimization.
“With our mechanic-centric approach, we are more than a service platform; we act as an extension of the auto repair shop, establishing a genuine connection and a shared identity that often goes beyond commercial relationships,” highlights the executive.
With the success of the expansion plan, Mecanizou's next step is to expand its operations to the ABC region of São Paulo.
