In another initiative to promote gender equality, Magalu launched this Thursday the "Luiza Women's Business Seller Community," which offers exclusive benefits for women entrepreneurs on the company's marketplace. The support network, with Luiza Helena Trajano as ambassador, will focus on the development of businesses created or managed by women.
"Women stretch themselves to handle all the work they have: house, children, job, and they are still blamed when something goes wrong, for example, when a child is not successful. They often feel overwhelmed and do not receive recognition for everything they do," says Luiza Helena Trajano. My dream is a country that has full-time schools in every neighborhood, allowing mothers to work and dedicate themselves just like fathers. Until then, I do what I can through Magalu.
During the event, which brought together over 800 women at the Magalu Arena, the benefits offered to those who will be part of the community and want to sell on the company's marketplace were presented. The group companies – KaBuM!, Netshoes, Época Cosméticos, Estante Virtual and aiqfome – will also have special conditions for female entrepreneurs.
The benefits of Magalu
All the entrepreneurial women of the communitythey will have access to a series of benefits, such as: attending a live session per month with Luiza Helena Trajano; accessing all content on UniMagalu – free and exclusive courses for sellers on the company's platforms; participating in in-person and online events; joining the WhatsApp group for exchanges and interaction with other entrepreneurs; accessing the community platform; and using the ComSchool content trail, in addition to receiving two 95% discount coupons for the school's courses.
The women who are part of the community and are Magalu sellersThey will have: discounts on fees for six months or until reaching 300,000 reais in revenue; exemption from storage fees in fulfillment for one year and 12 months of free collection; one month of zero co-participation in Magalu Deliveries; 100% of the amount invested in the first and second months in Magalu Ads converted into credits in the third month (limited to 3,000 reais); discounts on receivables anticipation; daily transfers for those with a MagaluPay account; reputation starting from level 3 for six months; a mentorship program; and an exclusive area in the app.
The community will also have an acceleration program, aimed at boosting Magalu entrepreneurs with training, mentoring, and investment to generate sustainable growth in the marketplace. The program will be divided into three phases – Onboarding and Training; Consolidation and Scaling; and Commercial Maturity. It will be held every three months with a different group of entrepreneurs. The acceleration has a 100% Magalu progressive investment, individual monitoring and improvement plan, certification, and access to the VIP partner group.
The benefits in other companies of the group
At Netshoes, the benefits will be the same as those offered by Magalu, except for discounts on receivables anticipation. At Época Cosméticos,The benefits include a reduction in rates for six months; increased visibility on Época Ads; and an exclusive area in the app. On Estante Virtual, they will have greater visibility on Estante Virtual Ads, and just like on KaBuM!, female entrepreneurs will have reduced fees for six months and increased visibility on Estante Virtual Ads.

The community will promote connection, facilitation, and recognition through benefits for participants who sell on Magalu's marketplace. The idea for the project arose after a survey conducted by the company indicated that 36% of sellers operating in the marketplace are companies founded by women, and of the remaining 64%, 19% are managed by one. Currently, the company has over 360,000 partner retailers on the platform, which means the network can directly reach at least 198,000 women.
