Limousine delivers aiqfome purchases and encourages habit change in the interior

O Aiqfome, the largest delivery app in the interior and the second largest in the country, continues to firmly implement digital technology in the interior cities where it operates – and the latest initiative aimed at the app's partner establishment visitors highlighted the importance of this paradigm shift: the consumers of stores in the quiet region of Guarapuava, in the interior of Paraná, who shopped at Superpão Saldanha supermarket, Di Família Pharmacy, and MZM Pet Shop Ração Wholesale, had their orders delivered by a limousine that circulated through the streets giving rides to customers who agreed to participate in the initiative. The activity took place completely free of charge. The action was created by the aiqfome marketing team with the aim of showing people that you can shop in a different and extremely comfortable way: through delivery.

The idea was to create an interactive experience with the clients so that, over time, these actions would lead to a change in behavior. For Diane, a pharmacist at one of the partner establishments involved in the initiative, the Di Família pharmacy, the aiqfome app has been contributing to the growth of local businesses.

“The action with the limousine is very interesting because it brings visibility to the pharmacy and to aiqfome. It is an innovative initiative, different from anything I have ever seen. It is cool because it provides the treatment that the customer deserves, VIP service. We have had a partnership with the app for two years and it has contributed a lot to us reaching people that perhaps we would not have at the pharmacy counter, but through aiqfome and the ease of making purchases, we have been able to reach this audience. I believe that over time, the tendency is only to increase the number of customers searching for the app”, said the partner.

Besides lack of time or even willingness, delivery can also solve the problem of hard-to-transport purchases. The goal of this action was, in addition to encouraging a change in habits within the interior of Brazil, to show users that they can request much more than just food on the aiqfome app, and in a "different" way – that's why we approached partner establishments from various segments, users with different profiles, and different needs – says Gabriela Terra, Marketing Manager of the app.

Aiqfome is Brazil's first delivery app, with over 6 million users, operating in more than 700 cities, and is the second largest in the country. Born in 2007, in Maringá/PR, has been part of the Magalu Group since 2020, working in the food delivery vertical. In the app, you can order food, water, gas, drinks, bakery items, pharmacy products, pet shop items, and much more. The brand has consolidated its presence in new regions, promoting robust growth and expanding its network of partners.

In the capitals, delivery of everything — markets, pharmacies, pet shops, beverages, among others — is more common than in the countryside, because in the big cities everything is more distant and people are forced to have more convenience to manage their daily shopping. Therefore, we want to normalize this experience also in the interior, as this region is our specialty – in addition to delivery being a business opportunity, it is also a way to increase accessibility to products in these regions, a convenience that is more than necessary. For a long time, the delivery sector focused only on the capitals, leaving the interior underserved, but small towns have great potential to boost the segment. The desire to democratize technology has always driven us, and for that reason, we will always be willing to encourage through campaigns and actions a change in behavior in these regions, proving that asking for everything through delivery is as simple as ordering food – an initiative that, in fact, has already become a well-established behavior in the countryside," says Igor Remigio, Co-founder and CEO of aiqfome.
