FCamara invests R$30 million in Artificial Intelligence in 2024 – growth of 1,400% compared to last year

This year, FCamara, a technology and innovation consulting firm, directed much of its efforts toward exponential growth in Artificial Intelligence (AI) development. Overall, the company invested R$ 30 million in the last 12 months, focusing on infrastructure, processes, training, and hiring, as well as applications for its clients' projects. This amount represents a 1,400% increase compared to the previous year.

In 2024, the portfolio of projects focused on AI use at FCamara grew by over 500%, serving sectors such as healthcare, finance, and industry in general. These projects can be AI-specific or AI-enabled consulting solutions—both aimed at accelerating the creation of new revenue streams for clients, increasing team productivity, among other objectives.

With this investment, FCamara strengthened its AI specialist team with 80 hires this year, in addition to training and developing several executives from different business areas to learn more about AI and work with it, enabling them to customize or create agents, for example. Today, the company already has more than 350 people fully qualified to develop consulting projects using Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence requires a lot of research and development. Even if AI agents produce a series of results, there is always a need for customization, team engagement, creating new metrics, and best practices. This demands time, study, and investment. These efforts, both in investment and in training professionals, create excellence projects, both internally and in those we deliver to our clients, explains Joel Backschat, CIO of FCamara.

Backshat continues explaining how the use of AI is already customary. "Even when a project does not have the demand for this technology, we necessarily deliver AI-based solutions." From chatbots and virtual assistants, which are simpler, to more advanced tools for development teams capable of optimizing tasks such as writing, quality testing, and coding, for example. These solutions also help ensure a more secure code deployment in production. All these resources are part of the projects we offer to our clients, detailing each step to meet their needs.

With this strategy, FCamara consolidates itself as one of the leading consulting firms in technology and innovation projects, balancing its internal growth with support for clients' technological advancement. For 2025, the outlook remains promising, with continuous growth in AI in solutions aimed at improving internal processes and delivering better results for clients.
