Organized by Traciona!, with the sponsorship of the Recife City Hall and the support of the Manguezal community, the Brazilian regional stage ofStartup World Cup 2025RecifeIt is open for pre-registration until July 20th. Companies from different sectors can apply to represent the country at the Grand Final, which will take place in Silicon Valley from October 15 to 17. In this event, a startup will be awarded a $1 million investment after evaluation by a panel of global investors.
The possible segments for the Recife registration are: Biotechs; Healthtechs; Agtechs; Cleantechs and Energytechs; Fintechs; Smart Cities and Govtech; and Deeptechs & other technologies. On July 25th, 8 participants in the regional phase will be announced to participate in the in-person event in Recife, scheduled for August 8th, during the MangueBit event. Of these, only one will be chosen to participate in the Global final.

A Startup World CupIt has over 10,000 registrations annually and provides visibility to the most promising solutions in each region. This selected group of startups will present at the Grand Final in Silicon Valley, which features prominent names from the global ecosystem such as Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple; Marc Randolph, co-founder of Netflix; Shark Tank's Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John, Robert Herjavec, Sundeep Jain, Uber's CPO, among others.
Previous editions in Brazil gathered, on average, more than 100 registered startups. Brazilian startups that won in previous years received investments, showed substantial growth, and stood out in their areas of expertise. They are: Truckpad; Biosolvit; Automni; Terramagna; Colibri and Gen-t.
