A Arrow Mobility, manufacturer of the only 100% electric national van, initiated a impactful partnership in the logistics sector. The company delivered the first unit of the first batch of the "Arrow ONE", fleet of electric vehicles, for the To Do Green – responsible for Amazon deliveries in Brazil. The official delivery was made by the president of the National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA), Márcio de Lima Leite, for the owner of the logistics corporation, Paula Simões, during the Electric Move, electric vehicle fair that took place this month in Serra Gaúcha.
This partnership marks the beginning of an innovative operation aimed at increasing the use of electric vehicles in Brazil, driven by the e-commerce giant. The Amazon, that has a vast logistics network of over 100 hubs distributed throughout the country, aims to increase efficiency and reduce carbon emissions with the adoption of vehicles. The first delivery is part of a larger plan, in which four vehicles will be integrated into the To Do Green fleet – a logtech focused on green and sustainable deliveries
Amazon invests in electric fleet for operations in Brazil
In 2024, Amazon expanded deliveries with electric vehicles in partnership with To Do Green, reaching the mark of 16 stations that operate with electric motorcycles and vans. The use of vehicles is aligned with the company's global sustainability strategy, and in Brazil, these points already serve more than 70 cities in the interior of São Paulo
Arrow Mobility is a key piece of this transformation, offering a sustainable and efficient solution for the last mile. The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program, what drives the creation of logistics companies by people who deliver packages sold by Amazon, currently has 41 entrepreneurs in the country and more than three thousand drivers.
