In the era of mobility, having access to strategic communication tools to maintain a relationship with the consumer is essential, and RCS (Rich Communication Services) has been standing out in the market.A survey conducted by Google revealed that 74% of users say that RCS would make them more likely to want to communicate with a brand.
In this context, leadership in RCS growth in Brazil is being driven by platforms such as Grupo Ótima Digital, one of the largest messaging distributors in Brazil, with recognized performance in telecommunications, SaaS and proprietary AI.
The company recorded a monthly volume of 18 million RCS messages in May of this year, a significant increase compared to the 800,000 sent in the same month of the previous year. The current monthly RCS volume at Ótima Digital already accounts for more than half of the total messages exchanged throughout 2023, which was 28 million.
In addition to the growth of RCS, there was also an increase in the sending of text messages (SMS). In May 2024, 740 million SMS messages were sent, a 42.3% increase compared to the 520 million sent in the same month of 2023.
