Santa Catarina-based company prepares for Black Friday 2024 with robust expansion in structure and partnerships to meet record demand

A reference in e-commerce in Brazil, Grand Commerce, a company located in Palhoça, in Greater Florianópolis, arrives at Black Friday 2024 stronger and more prepared than ever. With significant growth in its logistics structure and an increasingly diversified product portfolio, the company projects to meet a record demand from consumers seeking offers in the most popular market categories.

In 2023, Grand Commerce had already achieved a revenue of R$13 million, with 75,000 products sold, mainly in the categories of appliances, lighting, power tools, construction, kitchen utensils, and home security. Since then, the operation has made a significant leap, with the company increasing from an average of 2,000 products to a mix ranging between 4,000 and 5,000 items, covering more than 50 brands. A significant increase compared to the 20 brands of 2023. Among these, five have already established strategic partnerships, which broadens the reach and variety offered to consumers.

Expansion in structure and logistics for Black Friday

Black Friday 2024 marks a new era for Grand Commerce, which has substantially expanded its storage and distribution capacity. With a new logistics headquarters of over 5,600 m² – five times larger than the 2,200 m² operated in 2023 – the company now has space for approximately 680,000 items in stock and manages an average flow of three to four thousand orders per day. This new structure allows offering a catalog of up to 9,000 different products (SKUs) and maintaining a quick turnover, with about 3,000 items sold monthly.

To scale the delivery nationwide, the Grand Commerce fleet also grew. From a single truck in 2023, the company now has seven own vehicles, enabling agile and efficient distribution, integrated with Brazil's major marketplaces such as Mercado Livre, Amazon, Magalu, and Shopee. "We invested so that our operation could support the increase in demand and to offer the customer an even faster and more satisfying experience. We are ready to handle thousands of orders per day during Black Friday," says Ricardo Neske, COO of Grand Commerce.

The most popular categories for Black Friday 2024

Based on recent consumer searches, the expectation is that the categories of telephony, washing machines, residential security items (such as locks and cameras), appliances, and power tools will dominate this year's Black Friday. These categories reflect the current demand, which has already been heating up in recent weeks.

“Our growth is the result of hard work and a dedicated team. We are excited to offer our customers an exceptional shopping experience this Black Friday, with an expanded variety of products and improved logistics service,” highlights Ricardo Neske.

The company is prepared to deliver a remarkable Black Friday this year, leveraging its expanded infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and presence in top marketplaces. "Our goal is to serve the public with quality and agility, taking advantage of our growth and the trust we have gained in the market," concludes Neske.
