Post office launches national mega-operation of digital real estate auctions starting in February

From February, Correios begins a broad and structured operation of auctions of own properties, with recurring events and conducted entirely in a digital environment. The strategy seeks to expand the access of investors and the general public to real estate opportunities distributed across different regions of the country.

The first stage of the operation takes place in February, with auctions scheduled for the 12th and 26th, through the Vip Auction platform. Throughout the year, the events will happen continuously, with regular periodicity.

At this beginning, the properties offered are located in the states of Bahia, Ceara, Goias, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Para, Parana, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte and Sao Paulo. The portfolio includes assets of varied profiles, with initial bids starting from R$ 14 thousand and can reach R$ 190 million, serving from small investors to large institutional players.

The amount of real estate already available for sale in the auctions already exceeds 60 units, which will be included in the auctions from the releases and commercial preparations thereof. Therefore, the recommendation is to continuously monitor the auctioneer's website, which contains updated information, complete descriptions of lots and specific conditions of each offer.

Among the differentials of the adopted model is the special condition for early discharge: buyers who make the full payment within 30 days are exempt from any readjustment on the outstanding balance, which may represent a relevant financial gain in higher value transactions.
