iFood campaign mobilizes donations to expand access to Maratona Tech 2025

Until June 26, iFood users can participate in the country's largest educational mobilization, supporting the donation campaign of the Tech Marathon 2025, the main technology competition among Brazilian schools. Donations made through the app will be doubled by Rocketseat, up to a limit of R$ 100,000, significantly expanding the reach of the initiative. The campaign is the result of a partnership between iFood, Rocketseat, Movimento Tech 2030 (Movtec), andCactus Association, with the support of important sponsors such as Siemens Foundation, IBM, Google Cloud, Vonixx, J. Macêdo, Behring Foundation, Mercado Livre, Arco Institute, and Coca-Cola Brazil Institute.

The main goal of the initiative is to combat school dropout and expand young people's access to technological education, promoting social inclusion and transformation across the country. Carried out byCactus AssociationIn partnership with the Tech 2030 Movement, and with the support of iFood, Mercado Livre, and the Coca-Cola Brazil Institute, the Tech Marathon is a free competition aimed at public and private schools. Through practical and collaborative experiences, the initiative stimulates students' interest in technology and strengthens their skills for the future.

In 2024, the Tech Marathon mobilized approximately200 million studentsand4 million teachersacross Brazil, with a highlight on the significant female participation (56.7%) and the representation of Black or Brown teachers (50.4%). By 2025, the expectation is to impact more than300 million young peoplewith technological education and digital inclusion. Participating students compete for medals, notebooks, courses, and immersive experiences, essential stimuli to awaken vocations and reduce inequalities in access to the technological sector. By making support possible directly through the cell phone, the campaign also reinforces the role of civil society in building a fairer, more innovative, and inclusive future.
