A survey by Cuponomia , a platform that gathers discount coupons and cashback from over 2,000 partner stores, shows that the categories of toys, children's clothing, and books and magazines are among the most searched by consumers in the final stretch leading up to Children's Day . A comparison with the same period in 2024 reveals a significant increase in searches: toys grew by more than 120% , children's clothing by more than 200% , and books and magazines by more than 110% .
The increase reflects the increasingly digital behavior of families, who have prioritized practicality, savings, and variety when choosing gifts. This trend follows the rise in online shopping recorded in 2024. According to the Cielo Expanded Retail Index , the book and stationery sector grew 8.9% in e-commerce, while toys saw a 6.1% increase during the week of the holiday. A survey by OLX indicated that 94% of parents and family members planned to purchase gifts online, consolidating the digital environment as the main starting point for searches.
“Online shopping has become synonymous with convenience and savings. Families can choose gifts calmly, compare prices, and secure real benefits by using coupons and cashback,” says Ivan Zeredo , marketing director of Cuponomia. “Each click represents a more conscious choice, and this movement has transformed Children's Day into a digitally strategic date for retail and, at the same time, more practical for the consumer,” concludes Ivan.
