Black Friday 2024 has once again established itself as the main sales campaign for e-commerce in Brazil, delivering impressive figures that demonstrate the impact of technology use and personalized marketing strategies.Data fromedrone, an e-commerce-exclusive CRM and marketing automation tool, shows agrowth of more than 400% in Black Friday revenue, compared to the average for normal Fridays in 2024.
Furthermore, the number of orders last Friday (11/29) was 300% higher than on other Fridays in 2024 and edrone customers registered a growth of more than 100% in the average value of orders placed during Black Friday, even with the discounts applied on the date, which proves the importance of technological resources such as product recommendations and cross-selling.

ABComm estimated a 10% growth in Black Friday 2024 revenue, increasing from R$ 7.2 billion in 2023 to R$ 7.93 billion in 2024, with a 4.68% increase in the average ticket size of products. The results obtained by edrone and Magazord clients exceed these expectations, proving that the use of technology combined with marketing and communication tools with customers increases conversions.
“According to some preliminary information received, we believe that Black Friday was a success, even taking into account the country’s economic factors. This leads us to believe that ABComm’s estimate of R$7.93 billion, including the weekend, is close to the national results,” says Alexandre Crivellaro, director of market intelligence at the Brazilian Electronic Commerce Association.
A edrone, a CRM and marketing automation platform, recorded a total revenue of R$ 29.2 million (for an average of 500 clients) in just one day, 97% higher than in 2023. According to the e-commerce platform Magazord, which serves over 2,000 online stores in Brazil, Black Friday 2024 revenue reached R$ 210 million, representing a 31.25% increase compared to 2023.
Gabriel Linardi, managing partner of Magazord, highlights that this growth is the result of the versatility of the channels offered to clients and strategic preparation for Black Friday. "Attention to each client's business details is essential to drive extraordinary results," he concludes.
