- Why did you decide to create a bank within WhatsApp?
WhatsApp is an application used by 200 million Brazilians. It seemed natural to be where our user already spends most of their time, especially after we managed to find a safe way to do so with the platform's new features that allow password usage for transactions, for example.
- What are the benefits of using Magie compared to other digital banks?
Using Magie and using a bank is the difference between having a planner or having a personal assistant. You can simply give instructions, she understands and executes them for you, as if she were a person. Understands audio, photos, everything within your own WhatsApp.
- What measures does Magie take to protect users' privacy and data and how does it guarantee the security of transactions carried out via WhatsApp?
Since we use a Payment Institution infrastructure, regulated by the Central Bank, we have the same level of security and privacy as banks. We also use new features of WhatsApp itself to perform transactions only through password. Additionally, having a Magie ensures that you as a user do not need to open your banking app to make a quick Pix on the street, providing more security for your money.
- How does Magie plan to evolve and add new features in the future?
We will go deeper and deeper into both the virtual assistant and Open Finance functionalities, allowing your Magie to be increasingly intelligent and useful, knowing you deeply and helping you save time and money.
