Amazon Brazil announces today a major expansion plan for its operations in the country: by the end of 2025, the FBA – Amazon Logistics program will also be present in Amazon distribution centers in Minas Gerais, Federal District, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, and Ceará. With this, partner sellers from the respective states, participating in the Regular Regime or Simples Nacional, will be able to send their products directly to these centers, and have their logistics fully operated by the company. The distribution center in Nova Santa Rita (RS), which has been operating the logistics program since 2024, will begin serving sellers from the states of Santa Catarina and Paraná starting in August of this year.
With a strong focus on growth in 2025, the company also announced that, in line with its commitment to drive the success of entrepreneurs, it will reduce the fees for all its logistics programs in the country, including FBA, starting August 1, 2025.
The main goal of the initiative is to reduce the operational costs of partner sellers, attract new entrepreneurs to e-commerce, and consequently improve the shopping experience for customers by expanding the product selection and offering even more affordable prices for Brazilians. In 2025, to increase delivery agility across Brazil, Amazon will continue to expand its logistics infrastructure, which already covers 100% of the country's municipalities. This expansion represents a significant increase in service capacity at strategic locations, driven by the opening of new logistics hubs and the enhancement of transportation capacity, including through airline partnerships.
"Our fare reductions are a direct reflection of the ongoing investment we are making to improve the experience of our partner sellers and customers. This measure reinforces the company's commitment to supporting the growth of its over 100,000 partner sellers, of which 99% are Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs)," comments Julia Salles, director of the FBA – Amazon Logistics program in Brazil.“Since the launch of our retail operations in 2019, Amazon Brazil has been growing exponentially. In 2025, it will be no different: we have a very ambitious plan focused on our customers. We will expand our product selection and offer increasingly faster and more reliable delivery options nationwide," he concludes.
Launched in 2020, FBA – Amazon Logistics allows sellers to send their products to Amazon, which manages the entire logistics process, including storage, delivery, and post-sale customer service. Products shipped through FBA are eligible for free and fast Amazon Prime shipping nationwide, boosting sales and visibility among Prime members. As an additional benefit, participating companies with active offers will have the opportunity to take part in one of Amazon's biggest shopping events of the year, exclusive to members: Prime Day 2025, which will take place in Brazil on July 15 and 16.
