Zenvia innovates in recruitment with empathetic AI and feedback in minutes

Zenvia, which enables companies to create personal, engaging and fluid experiences throughout the customer journey, has started to use artificial intelligence in its recruitment processes through a partnership with DigAI, a startup specialized in AI solutions for Human Resources.

The initiative does not replace human interaction (on the contrary, it unites technology and empathy for the best candidate experience and assertiveness in the selection process. “A IA enters to add, and not to hinder the experience of those who are seeking a new chapter in their career. What we did was to apply AI ethically and consciously, respecting the time, energy and emotions involved in this important moment”, he says Katiuscia Teixeira, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Zenvia.

Technology has been increasingly adopted in People and Culture processes. According to a study by Gartner, more than 40% of companies already use generative AI at some stage of recruitment and selection, and this number tends to grow with the demand for greater efficiency, agility and customization. From intelligent screening to automated feedbacks, artificial intelligence is consolidated as an ally to make the experience more fluid for all involved.

“By our survey, Zenvia is among the early adopters of artificial intelligence among Brazilian companies, which not only shows confidence in our platform, but the real commitment to the experience of its candidates, joining technology and people in a strategic way”, in a strategic way punctua Christian Pedrosa, CEO of DigAI.

At Zenvia, AI works between the analysis of resumes and the interview with the recruiter. Candidates are invited to answer, through audios recorded on the DigAI platform, personalized questions according to the vacancy. Access is simple and intuitive, with an initial familiarization test and the possibility of rewriting in up to four minutes per response. The great differential is the automatic sending of individualized feedback by email and on the platform itself, within minutes after the end of the stage.

By early July, more than 577 interviews were conducted in Zenvia's new AI selection journey, and the assessment has been highly positive: 92.6% of candidate satisfaction. In addition, according to the DigAI platform, recruiters have saved 245 hours.

The initiative is aligned with the strategic evolution of the company, which in October last year announced to the market its complete AI to revolutionize the customer experience, Zenvia Customer Cloud, which has already been deployed by 5,700 companies, generating revenue between R$ 180 million and R$ 200 million in 2024.

“We are talking about a movement consistent with what we offer to the market: more fluid, engaging and personalized journeys. Just as we help our customers sell more and serve better with technology, we use AI to create smarter experiences also at home, in this case, in the relationship with the candidates of our” selection processes, concludes Katiuscia.
