Total Express highlights Manaus and Belém as strategic hubs for e-commerce in the Amazon

A Total Express, which has been operating for more than three decades and is a benchmark in logistics solutions in Brazil, is consolidating its presence in the Amazon by transforming Manaus and Bethlehem in high-performance logistics hubs for the growing regional e-commerce market. In Manaus, the proximity to the Industrial Hub and the Free Trade Zone incentives drive a continuous flow of goods, backed up by agile customs processes. Since December 2023, the opening of the air route between Guarulhos and Manaus has reduced transportation times from 14 to just 3 days, increasing the volume served in the Amazonian capital fivefold.

In Belém, the dredging of the port channel, scheduled for completion in November 2025, will allow the arrival of larger ships, generating economies of scale and faster cargo handling. The integration of road, waterway and air transportation creates an efficient network to reach isolated municipalities in the region, diversifying transportation alternatives according to the urgency and profile of each delivery.

For the last mile, the final leg of a product's delivery to the consumer, the company invests in local distribution centers and a network of PUDO (Pick-Up & Drop-Off) points, as well as light vehicles adapted to urban and riverside streets. An artificial intelligence system optimizes routes in real time, ensuring transparency and strict compliance with SLAs even during peak periods such as Black Friday.

Aware of the Amazon's environmental challenges, the company adopts advanced climate monitoring and prioritizes the use of less polluting modes, balancing operational efficiency and respect for the ecosystem. This sustainable approach minimizes the risk of delays due to climatic factors and strengthens Total Express' commitment to responsible practices.

"Our commitment is to expand end-to-end logistics access in Brazil, while respecting regional particularities. The Amazon is a priority and, with these initiatives, we are able to reduce deadlines, optimize costs and, at the same time, contribute to local economic development," says Marcus Vinicius Tadim, Head of Commercial at Total Express.

In partnership with Suframa, city halls and local associations, the company expands its warehousing infrastructure and promotes training for regional teams. Customers can also count on real-time dashboards and informative webinars, guaranteeing full visibility of operations and helping brands to plan stocks and campaigns based on accurate data.

With over 30 years of experience, Total Express has reaffirmed its leadership in logistics solutions for e-commerce in Brazil, combining innovation, sustainability and excellence in serving companies of all sizes.
