Digital transformation has reached all sectors, and companies of different sizes can benefit from seeking technological training as a way to empower their employees. The idea goes beyond simply meeting the demand for technical skills, but providing the necessary knowledge so that professionals can automate tasks, optimize processes and gain autonomy by using technology to their advantage.
According to research Tech Education & Operational Efficiency of Companies, performed by Alura For Business in partnership with FIAP, companies that invest in tech training actions observe improvements in several indicators related to the performance of collaborating people, such as increased productivity (64%) and engagement (45%).
In this scenario of constant transformation, the school determined which were the 10 Technology courses most sought after on its platform in the first half of 2024, revealing the areas that received the greatest investment in training, with an overview of the most relevant skills for the market this year.

The survey shows a relevant change in the interests of companies compared to the previous year. There is greater diversification in demands, highlighting the growing momentum in areas such as Business Intelligence, with the Power BI course, and Data Science, represented by the search for “Python for Data Science”.
For Tavane Gurdos, general director of Alura For Business, the ranking points out that there is a strong mobilization in the market to promote data intelligence in business. “Tools like JavaScript, Python, Power BI, and Excel open up avenues for companies to create innovative solutions, optimize processes, and make strategic decisions within a vast digital ecosystem”, he says.
Technology development
The study by Alura For Companies with FIAP also reveals that 60% of the organizations surveyed assess that their customers or users were able to perceive (directly or indirectly ¡ ̄ the positive impacts of investments in tech training. According to Tavane, this number and the school's own ranking indicate that many companies have already understood that they need to adapt to the dynamic reality of the market to remain competitive and retain talent.
"Within the current context, continuous learning (lifelong learning) allows professionals and companies to develop at the rapid pace of innovations”, says expert.“There are no more careers in technology, but technology in every career. Therefore, the IT area remains a strategic pillar, but democratization and empowerment in the use of technological tools is crucial to success in the digital world”, he concludes.
