TikTok Shop, a feature that allows users to sell products on this social network, has started operating in Brazil. And one of the first integration hubs to include the platform in the country will be Magis5, which already integrates all major marketplaces operating in Brazilian e-commerce.
For Magis5 CEO Claudio Dias, the arrival of TikTok Shop promises to shake up the e-commerce market in Brazil. “TikTok has 111.3 million users in Brazil, the third-largest online presence in the world. These are potential customers across different age groups and consumer profiles. In other words, the platform’s reach for e-commerce is enormous,” he assesses.
The effectiveness lies both in the number of users that could convert into online sellers and in the diversity of items to be sold, Dias points out. “The expectation is strong appeal for selling beauty, personal care, health, fashion, and electronics products on TikTok Shop.”
The expert explains that TikTok’s ‘shop’ feature is already available in the United States, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Recently, it arrived in Mexico. “In all these countries, successfully. In the U.S. alone, the platform generates $9 billion annually. For Brazil, it’s a potential opportunity and an economic blue ocean,” he bets.
According to recent reports (Statista, eMarketer, 2024), the global social commerce market, where TikTok Shop operates, is expected to reach around $1.2 trillion by the end of 2025, driven mainly by platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
The expectation is that the platform will generate up to R$39 billion in Brazil by 2028, representing 5% to 9% of national e-commerce, according to a Santander bank report.
Magis5 was selected as TikTok Shop’s strategic partner during the platform’s planning phase in Brazil. The agreement, signed under confidentiality, ensured the development of advanced technical integration even before the official announcement. “This partnership reinforces our role as an essential integration hub for sellers in growing their businesses in the domestic market,” highlights Dias.
Magis5 unifies 12 marketplaces—including the newly arrived TikTok Shop—into a single integrated platform. Sellers gain agility with automated publishing, real-time inventory control, and centralized order management, simplifying previously complex and time-consuming operations.
The solution automates with precision. From documents to inventory logistics, everything is managed with customizable rules and integrated analytics. “The result? Reduced operational costs, elimination of manual errors, and the ability to scale sales safely—advantages that explain why the platform moves millions in digital retail,” explains Magis5’s CEO.
Headquartered in Rio Claro (SP) with nationwide operations, Magis5 began operations in 2018. Over R$5 billion has already passed through its marketplace integration hub, which has transacted more than 50 million orders. The company has a team of over 100 employees.
