As one of the only ones in the world with the functionality, Poli Digital's API reaches R$ 6 million in sales with direct payment via chat

The startup Poli Digital announces that the amount transacted through the Poli Pay functionality has reached R$ 6 million. The company provides technological solutions that centralize and automate contact channels for small and medium-sized businesses with their customers, via WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook—all from Meta Group—with which Poli Digital maintains a partnership to access the official APIs of WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger.

Poli Pay is a solution from Poli that enables consumers to make payments directly through the chat where they are being assisted. This method provides greater speed, accuracy, and security in the relationship between the company and the customer, highlights Poli CEO Alberto Filho.

Citing market research, such as data from Opinion Box, Alberto Filho reports that six out of ten consumers communicate with companies through digital channels to make purchases. Thus, Poli Pay facilitates and, with this, stimulates the realization of transactions. “It has proven to be a very attractive feature”, he evaluates. 

According to the CEO of Poli Digital, almost half (46%) of orders created via Poli Pay were completed with payment made. This percentage represents twice the amount recorded in traditional e-commerce modalities, in which customers create shopping carts until they actually complete payment. 

“O Poli Pay is a means of payment in which the sending and receiving of charges are integrated into the system of centralization and automation of contacts of the solution we offer. Thus, from the initial contact that the customer makes, through the choice of products and reaching the realization of payment, this entire process is carried out by the same contact chat”, describes the CEO. 

If for customers it means convenience, for companies the features of Poli Pay help boost sales. Alberto Filho explains: “The tool interface allows the creation of catalogs of products and services, with description, prices and illustrated with photos.In addition, it enables the creation and shipping of the shopping cart’ with the option of payment link by Poli Pay”. 

Poli Digital maintains partnerships with the Mercado Pago and PagSeguro brands. Thus, Poli's system is integrated with the two brands. “This integration gives consumers diversified options of payment methods (by ticket, pix, or credit card. And the company that makes the sales receives the value through these institutions”, says the CEO.
