Magalu, a company digitizing the retail sector, and Sebrae are celebrating National Micro and Small Business Day (October 5th) with an unprecedented partnership. To incentivize sales for the more than 8,200 sellers on the company's marketplace that fit this category, the institution will offer free shipping all day for purchases of products marked with the “Buy from the Small Business” seal.
The initiative was made possible by Magalu Ads, the company's advertising vertical, which conducted an unprecedented study using a database of over 350,000 partner sellers. The department identified that, among this number of retailers, 8,246 have registered CNPJs as Microentrepreneurs (MEI), Microenterprises (ME), or Small Businesses (EPP).
“Our ecosystem boasts one of the largest audiences on the Brazilian internet. Providing access to this community of sellers and incentivizing them, together with Sebrae, to increase their revenue is completely aligned with Magalu's mission,” says Célia Goldstein, director of Magalu Ads. “This is also an initiative that shows that Magalu Ads has the potential to enable a creative solution for brands across all segments to offer benefits to both sellers and consumers, as is the case with Sebrae.”

The “Buy from the Small” partnership will take place all day Saturday the 5th, both on the Magalu website and app. Customers will have products from a wide variety of categories, including clothing, home decor, and housewares, to choose from and help these small retailers sell more.
