Research reveals that only 25% of Brazilian companies have certifications of ESG practices

According to a Bloomberg survey, the ESG sector is expected to move US$53 trillion by 2025 ESG have been growing consistently in the projects and operations of Bermo Valves and Industrial Equipment, which is part of the German group ARI - Armaturenboth in internal management and in the solutions offered to customers, the company adopts strategies that integrate environmental, social and governance actions. 

According to research conducted by the innovation consultancy TEC Institute, in partnership with MIT Tech Review Brazil, 75% of companies in Brazil do not have ESG certifications. This scenario places Bermo in a reference position in the market. 

One of the pillars of the company's performance is energy efficiency. According to Bruno Abreu's, Bermo Sales and Marketing Director “ ARI Armaturen, the company develops valve systems and equipment that reduce energy consumption, helping customers cut operating costs and reduce their carbon footprint. “The choice of materials also follows this line, prioritizing components of lower environmental impact at all stages of the product cycle, from production to disposal.In addition, we invest on a recurring basis in research and innovation, to ensure that their technologies meet stringent environmental standards”, he explains. 

Bermo's internal policies meet ESG

Internally, Bermo implements initiatives such as recycling materials, using renewable energy and practices to reduce carbon emissions, seeking operational efficiency and reducing environmental impacts.

Abreu highlights that in the social field, the company promotes fair working conditions, and invests in the development of its employees. “In addition, we participate in community-oriented initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility. Regarding the economy, last year, through ESG practices, we saved more than 100 thousand gigajoule in energy; more than 7 thousand tons of CO² less emitted; more than 97 thousand m² of water and R$8 million saved”, he reveals. 

ESG practices are part of customer support

ESG practices are also extended to Bermo customers. The company offers specialized consulting to guide other organizations in adopting sustainable practices, helping them to adapt to the growing demands of the market.“We seek to constantly maintain a constant dialogue with its stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and communities, which allows integrating their expectations into ESG strategies, strengthening” partnerships, Abreu points out.
