Now, paying the bill at a bar, splitting the cost of a taxi ride, or even completing a purchase in a store has become even faster and easier. Combining payments and communication in a single interface reflects the behavior of today’s consumer, who seeks quick and uncomplicated solutions,” he explains.

To ensure the security of transactions, the new feature allows users to set a limit for payments via WhatsApp. Above the limit value, the user is directed to the app to authorize the transaction.
"Simplicity does not mean it's less secure; on the contrary. In addition to allowing transactions without opening the bank app, we developed a way for users to set their own desired level of security. We created a feature that increases flexibility for customers without having to sacrifice security and control," adds Pedro Gomes, co-CEO of the fintech.
