About to turn 100 years old, Teka launches its own e-commerce to accelerate digital transformation

On the eve of celebrating its centenary, the Teka, one of the most traditional brands in the Brazilian textile sector, took a decisive step in its modernization strategy with the launch of its proprietary e-commerce. The initiative aims to follow the evolution of consumer habits and establish a channel of direct relationship with customers throughout the national territory.

The move definitely inserts the company into the era of digital transformation, complementing its traditional sales channels with a robust online operation.The project was executed in about four months, ranging from strategic planning to integration with internal systems and performance testing.

According to Fabiana Geraigire, responsible for the e-commerce of the brand, the novelty reflects the adaptation of the company to the new times:

Focus on User Experience (UX)

One of the central pillars of the development was the customer journey.The platform offers intuitive navigation, intelligent search filters and a simplified checkout, as well as logistics integration to ensure agility in delivery.

At this launch stage, the product mix available on the website (www.teka.com.br) focuses on a curation of the main bed, table and bath lines, bringing the most iconic items from the brand portfolio.

Next Steps

Teka's strategy for the first months of operation is to focus on consolidating the structure and analyzing data on online purchasing behavior.
