Pinterest announces the launch of the second edition of Pinterest Shop Brazil, an innovative initiative in Latin America that connects brands, creators, and consumers during the most relevant retail period of the year: the end of the year, marked by events like Black Friday and Christmas.
The campaign, which in 2024 has already impacted millions of Brazilians, returns as an original production by the platform, promoting trends and products from the most sought-after categories by users: fashion, beauty, decor, and gastronomy. The achieved results demonstrate how advantageous it is for brands to be on Pinterest, as during the holiday season, users of the platform spend, on average, 20% more than users on other platforms.
The latest edition highlighted the potential of the initiative: there were over 130 million video views, resulting in an 18% higher retention rate compared to content not produced by Pinterest, between September and December of last year.
“Every three seconds, a year-end celebration is planned on Pinterest. It is at this moment that we become the main destination for gift ideas and celebrations, creating unique opportunities for conversion,” saysRogério Nicolai, Pinterest’s business director in Brazil. “We continue working to connect brands and consumers, inspiring choices and facilitating the shopping journey on the platform.”
In 2025, Pinterest Shop Brazil will feature a new external setting in São Paulo, with immersive spaces designed to bring the platform’s universe to life and enhance the creation of organic and inspiring content.
