Object First, a company specializing in immutable backup storage solutions, today announced an impressive 600% growth in subscriptions during the second quarter of 2024, compared to the same period a year ago.
Object First CEO David Bennet expressed his enthusiasm for the company's performance: “We are seeing strong growth in all areas of our business, including new products, expanding our network of partners and customers, and robust reserves”. Bennet attributes the success to the company's unique approach to providing secure and efficient storage solutions, specially developed for integration with Veeam.
The company's flagship product, Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability), saw a notable increase in sales. The 64TB and 128TB versions saw growth of 1.580% and 425%, respectively, compared to the previous year.
In June, during VeeamON 2024, Object First announced a capacity expansion, now offering Ootbi devices with up to 192TB on a single node, enabling clusters of up to 768TB of immutable storage.
Object First's global expansion is also notable, with a 300% increase in the number of business partners in the second quarter of 2024.The company has established new partnerships in North America and Europe, as well as expanding its distributor network in several European countries.
Object First's growth has not gone unnoticed by the industry. The company was included in CRN's Storage 100 2024 list, and two of its leaders, Meredith Frick and Kelly Wells, were recognized on the CRN 2024 Women of the Channel list.
This exceptional growth reflects the growing concern of organizations with data security and the need for robust backup solutions, especially in a scenario where ransomware threats continue to evolve and intensify.
