Transfero, a company that integrates banking, crypto and financial systems through blockchain technology-based solutions, announced the launch of the Next Leap program.The initiative, supported by Unisuam, Sicoob Empresas, Coinchange and EBM Group, will select three startups to exhibit at the Web Summit Lisboa, the largest technology and innovation event in the world, in November 2024.
The Next Leap program will initially select 20 startups for a series of online workshops and mentorships with executives from Transfero and its partner companies.The topics covered will include business development and revenue models, marketing and customer acquisition, product development and innovation, fundraising and investor relations, as well as team management and organizational culture. At the end of the mentoring week, three startups will be chosen to receive tickets for the event, with a stay and paid tickets for two people per company.
Selection Criteria
To participate, interested startups must meet the following criteria:
- Be less than 5 years old
- Have fewer than 150 employees
- Offer unique software products or solutions or be developing connected hardware devices
- Not be registered to exhibit at Web Summit Lisboa
- Have not raised more than US$ 1 million in funding
Program Schedule
- Opening of registrations: august 5th
- Finalization of registrations: august 9
- Announcement of the 20 startups selected for mentoring: august 14
- Period of workshops and mentoring: 19 To 23 august
- Disclosure of the 3 startups that go to the Web Summit Lisboa: august 26
- Period for networking with the Transfero ecosystem and partners: September & october
