Digital businesses remain a surefire bet for entrepreneurship even in 2025

With the advancement of automation platforms and the consolidation of digital consumption in Brazil, starting an online business remains one of the options for those looking to launch a business as early as 2025. According to projections from the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce (ABComm), the sector is expected to generate R$224.7 billion in revenue in 2025. The growth of sales through channels such as WhatsApp and marketplaces is expanding access for new entrepreneurs to the market, offering leaner models that allow for quick implementation and return. In this regard, digital solutions stand out because they permit nearly immediate operation, without the need for a physical location or large structures, which results in cost reduction and accelerates the start of operational activities.

According to Marcos Schütz, CEO of VendaComChat, a licensing company specializing in sales automation via WhatsApp, the digital market is going through a new phase. “People have understood that technology is no longer an alternative, but the very center of the operation. Automation has become a direct bridge between brands and customers, with visible results and much lower costs than traditional channels,” he states.

With the growth of investors in this segment and new demands for convenience and personalization, the executive states that the expectation is that the digital sales and service automation market will continue to accelerate in 2026, also driven by consumer behavior, which currently prioritizes practicality, speed, and simplified experiences. “This movement should continue to generate opportunities for entrepreneurs of different profiles and regions, especially in digital, scalable, and low-cost operating models. This creates a favorable ecosystem for those who wish to start businesses with accessible, profitable digital solutions that have a direct impact on companies” daily routines," emphasizes Schütz.

For the specialist, this investment is no longer just a differentiator but has become a strategic necessity for those seeking efficiency and scalability. “Investing in automation is rewarding time, productivity, and predictability. When repetitive processes are automated, the entrepreneur gains the freedom to focus on strategy and growth, while technology works 24 hours for them,” the specialist adds.
