Female entrepreneurship in Brazil represents 46% of the total number of entrepreneurs, according to recent data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). This index positions the country in the 7th world position in number of women ahead of business, which shows the growing female participation in the global entrepreneurial scenario. An example of this advance is the Brazilian brand Without Cosmetic Label, founded by entrepreneurs Lais Theis and Melyssa Esser, who stand out in the beauty market by offering products free of harmful chemical additives to health. With an initial investment of more than R$ 300 thousand, the company projects to reach R10 million in sales 100 million.
Like the founders of the brand Without a Cosmetic Label, another 10.3 million women are ahead of companies in Brazil, which represents a growth of 30%, the highest level ever recorded.The data are from the survey Female Entrepreneurship, conducted by Sebrae (Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Companies).
