Moki, a company specialized in SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions with 17 years of experience in the B2B market, has just launched Moki Smart Scan. The platform uses artificial intelligence and augmented reality technology, which incorporated into the Moki application, improves operational efficiency and the reading of barcodes and QR codes in up to 70%. Big names in the market such as Boticario Group, GPA, Grupo Santa Cruz, Dengo Chocolate and Jadlog have already had access to the new technology.
The platform can be applied to various sectors, such as food, pharmaceutical, logistics, retail, among others. The Moki Smart Scan ensures speed and accuracy in the conferencing of goods and products, and consequently reduces errors, reduces the need for dedicated staff and operating costs. In a supermarket, for example, Moki Smart Scan can assist in checking price, inventory, refueling of gondola, shelf life and even in the audit of extinguishers. New that also generates impact for the final consumer, since it eliminates the divergence of prices between products in the gondola and in the box.
Guilherme Werneck, CEO of Moki, explains this functionality of the platform: “Today, the employee uses a barcode collector and scans each item separately, which, in the sequence, has its value manually checked in a printed table. With the Moki Smart Scan, just pass the camera of the cell phone by the products on the shelf, which the application makes the comparison with the price recorded in the cashier in real time. Signaling in green the correct items and in red those who present divergences.”
The new technology has the potential to revolutionize several sectors in the coming years. Werneck explains that the processes now done manually are now automated, such as counting boxes in stock or tracking an order, for example.
For logistics companies, the platform means the end of manual counting and a drastic reduction in the number of losses and loss of cargo. This is because Moki Smart Scan can in a matter of minutes read the codes of all goods placed inside the same pallet and identify if those products are going to the correct destination, and, of course, point out if there are missing items.
These features save time and money for companies, in addition to reducing investment in equipment and employee training. “Instead of these traditional hardware that scans the barcode by Moki's software with Smart Scan, there is already an operational and cost optimization.Even because the maintenance is much simpler, since the Moki application can be used on any smartphone. Our platform is easy to use and does not need complex training. As people are already intimate with mobile phones, it is easier to use the new technology, especially in a country with labor training problems such as Brazil”, explains Werneck's very intuitive use and use of augmented reality.
