Mercado Bitcoin revolutionizes operations with OpenAI's Enterprise technology.

Mercado Bitcoin (MB) announced that it is implementing ChatGPT Enterprise, an AI research and deployment company. The cornerstone of this implementation is the technological evolution of MB through the integration of AI across all fronts, transforming the organizational culture to foster innovation. The initial areas with use cases for the new tools were Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and HR.

Contact between the institutions began in December 2022, but the Enterprise package negotiation took place only in June of this year. The key differentiator of the service contracted by MB is that the data processed cannot be used for training the LLM (large language models), ensuring the company's intellectual property is preserved. Other corporations using this version include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Oxford University, SoftBank, the United States Government, and the pharmaceutical company Moderna.

Additionally, MB is periodically monitoring the platform to understand the frequency of employee usage and the complexity of tasks being performed with AI assistance. In this regard, groups named "champions" have been established, comprising 17 professionals who have excelled in using generative technology at MB and are responsible for collaborating to expand the implementation of this resource to other employees.

The next steps are focused on the HR area and the development of a virtual assistant. Recruitment and selection processes will be conducted via AI up to the first interview stage. The virtual assistant will be used to resolve customer inquiries smoothly and with operational efficiency, ensuring the user remains on the same screen throughout the entire service journey. The goal is for the tool to support different languages, aligning with the company's internationalization strategy.
