Mecanizou, a startup that connects machine shops to auto parts suppliers, starts the second half of 2024 with an impressive growth of 110%, surpassing the performance of the previous year. The company plans to double the number of workshops served on its platform by the end of the year, reaching the mark of 5,000 customers.
In May, Mecanizou expanded its operations to new areas of Sao Paulo and the city of Guarulhos, responding to high demand in previously unmet regions. Currently, the startup has more than 300 suppliers and a database of 1 million automotive parts.
“Thanks to our expansion in May, we achieved significant growth in the first half and we expect to end the year with an increase four times greater than that recorded in 2023. This will strengthen our presence in the sector, fostering innovation and improving our operation. Achieving the goal of 5,000 workshops later this year will allow us to increase our visibility and introduce new technologies in new” regions, says Ian Faria, co-founder and CEO of Mecanizou.
Registration on the platform is fast and fully online, offering mechanical benefits such as discounts, several installment options and time optimization.
“With our mechanic-centric approach, we are more than a service platform; we act as an extension of the machine shop, establishing a genuine connection and a shared identity that often surpasses the” business relationships.
With the success of the expansion plan, the next step of Mecanizou is to expand its operations to the ABC region.
