For Adriana Muniz, Head of People, Culture and Performance, MakeOne, contribute to the professional journey of underprivileged children is extremely important for the company. “We are very happy to have carried out a project like this and have the possibility to contribute to society as a company. In addition, within the youth group of the NGO, we were able to identify talents, and our employees who volunteered to participate in the day, gave a computer to a child who proved very interested and with potential in the” area, comments the executive.
“The project was extremely important, because the children had never visited a company and the contact they had provided by the professionals present in their respective functions, in prepared rooms, well equipped, differentiated materials for each class, the information and the dynamic way of explaining according to each profession, was a great experience for these young people. It happened in a delicate moment for the CCA, which is closed, without being able to attend the children for lack of”, explains Cristiane da Silva Souza, service manager of the NGO CCA. “In 29 years of work within the same organization, I had never experienced or experienced such an important moment to understand which children are such important skills and skills as being able to follow.
In order for the development of children to continue happening at home, MakeOne distributed booklets for young people and another booklet for parents, on digital security and other points addressed in the event. The company plans to continue carrying out new projects like this with other NGOs, to try to achieve and transform the lives of as many children as possible, always focusing on the professional training of needy young people. The next edition of “Conecta ' Day of the professions” is expected to happen in the first quarter of 2025.
“This event is an action that covers the pillar “” (Social) in the concept of ESG. We are focused on contributing to society, since the initiative aims to awaken in the children of the NGO the interest in career options that go beyond their current context, encouraging them to dream and consider opportunities that once seemed distant, strengthening our commitment to the” community, concludes Adriana Muniz.
