LinkedIn Learning turns 10 and launches free AI courses for leadership

LinkedIn Learning, the learning platform of LinkedIn, marks its 10th anniversary at a time when 88% of Brazilian HR professionals consider employee upskilling a priority for 2025. Since its launch in 2015, the solution has grown nearly sixfold globally. It currently offers a robust catalog of over 24,000 courses that combine technical knowledge with behavioral skills, developed by experts to support the advancement of professionals across various fields.

As part of its commitment to helping workers navigate the technological transformations impacting the world of work, LinkedIn, in partnership with Microsoft, is offering a selection of free courses focused on artificial intelligence literacy. The content, available until December 31, 2025, includes two learning paths with certification and Portuguese subtitles: “AI for Organizational Leaders” and “AI for Managers”This initiative aims to support leaders and teams in adapting to a work environment increasingly shaped by new technologies.

The launch aligns with trends identified in the Skills on the Rise report, a survey highlighting the fastest-growing skills across different economic sectors. Knowledge of artificial intelligence tops the list as the most sought-after skill by Brazilian recruiters in 2025. In this context, developing talent internally has become a priority for organizations: 76% of HR professionals state that they will focus on upskilling their teams in AI-related skills still this year.

For Milton Beck, General Manager of LinkedIn for Latin America and Africa, this movement around new technologies reflects the importance of LinkedIn Learning. “In recent years, we have seen the growth of approaches more connected to skills and less exclusively focused on degrees. LinkedIn Learning helps reduce critical gaps by providing access to quality training aligned with the real demands of the labor market,” he states.

In addition to the AI courses for leaders, LinkedIn Learning is also offering other free content with Portuguese subtitles until June 30, 2025, focused on employability and developing interpersonal skills for professionals at different career stages, such as: How to Write a Great Resume, LinkedIn for Opportunity Search, Networking: How to Build a Professional Network, How to Succeed in Your Job Interview, Effective Communication with Generative Artificial Intelligence, How to Develop Your Emotional Intelligence and Empathetic Communication in the Workplace.

These initiatives reinforce LinkedIn's role as a strategic partner in professional development, especially during a time of accelerated transformations in the labor market. By democratizing access to quality learning, the platform helps prepare professionals of diverse profiles—from those just starting their careers to those leading teams—for the challenges and opportunities of a world increasingly driven by technology and constantly evolving skills.
