LIBIAO ROBOTICS arrives in Brazil with intelligent sorting robots for logistics center automation

LIBIAO ROBOTICS (https://libiaorobot.com/en ), a global provider of intelligent sorting robots and flexible sorting solutions, announced its entry into the Latin American market, establishing Brazil as its regional base. The company has deployed over 60,000 robots across more than 20 distinct sectors, spanning over 40 countries and regions.

In Brazil, it boasts a dedicated team, strategic partners, and an ongoing project pipeline. The global engineering team is headquartered in China, and LIBIAO has already established a local technical team structure for project implementation, support, and customization, ensuring customer proximity and agile service.

Thiago Holanda, the company's consultant for Latin America, who is responsible for business development and regional expansion, comments that LIBIAO chose Brazil due to the growth of sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry, driven by the need for accuracy and traceability; the food and beverage industries, due to their scale and speed requirements; and the textile and fashion industries, because of SKU diversity and logistical challenges.

“O Brasil combina volume de mercado, diversidade industrial e maturidade tecnológica, o que o torna estratégico para a LIBIAO. Queremos consolidar nossa presença na região e projetamos um crescimento de dois dígitos no Brasil, impulsionado principalmente pelo and e-commerce e pela logística de alto volume”, destaca Holanda.

According to the Brazilian E-commerce Association (Abcomm), e-commerce revenue is projected to reach R$ 234 billion in 2025, solidifying the upward trend expected to continue until 2029, when revenue is forecast to reach R$ 343 billion. Logistics is the heart of e-commerce: it goes beyond inventory or fast delivery; it provides real-time inventory visibility, efficient demand planning, optimized picking and packing processes, and rigorous shipping control.

“Our robotic sorters have immediate relevance in this scenario,” states Holanda.

Automated solutions for warehouses

Although more widely implemented in e-commerce and marketplace operations, LIBIAO ROBOTICS' systems are highly versatile and applicable across various industrial and distribution sectors, wherever there is a need for sorting, separation, and logistics optimization.

“Currently, the equipment is manufactured in China, where our industrial and Research and Development base is located. However, we are constantly evaluating partnerships and local integration models in Brazil, especially in areas such as maintenance, customization, and advanced services to serve our customers with maximum market proximity, as we are aware that this makes a difference in terms of operational productivity and safety,” comments Holanda.

Among the sorting robot models from LIBIAO for Latin America are:

T-Sort systems

Flexible and scalable systems for more agile e-commerce, retail, and last-mile operations. Ideal for order sorting, store replenishment, returns processing.

  • More flexibility: modular design, allowing reconfiguration and expansion;
  • Sorting (parcels) separates 20-10,000 destinations in
  • large waves with a sorting accuracy of 99.9%;
  • Rapid deployment, thanks to modular design (1 to 2 weeks)
  • Low space occupancy;
  • Labor reduction;
  • Low operational cost.

AirRob Bin-To-Person Systems

Efficient automation system for product bin storage and picking, combining high-density storage, availability, and robustness with fast, effective, and low-cost transportation. By installing AirRob on shelving, the system utilizes vertical height and reduces aisles, increasing operational density.

  • Higher density – narrow aisle of 850mm.
  • Higher efficiency – each workstation can process 600 outbound bins + 600 inbound boxes per hour.
  • High ROI – personnel reduction by 2/3 with investment recovery within a maximum of 2 years.

3D Sorting System: The 3D sorting system transforms the flexible sorting mode of robots from the plane to three-dimensional space, using less space for greater sorting capacity. It is easy to install, relocate, and expand, and can be quickly set up and launched for production within hours, instead of months, thereby maximizing capacity conversion.

  • Space utility (1/3 of the space required);
  • High accuracy (99.9% sorting accuracy
  • High flexibility

LIBIAO ROBOTICS Milestones

  • Inventor of the first autonomous table-top sorting robot;
  • Proprietary navigation system;
  • Self-developed Robot Control System (RCS);
  • Proprietary communication system;
  • Over 200 patents and copyrights widely protected worldwide
  • Dozens of awards, including RBR 50, Top 10 Material Handling Supplier in APAC, Material Handling Products of the Year
  • Comprehensive certifications CE, UL, ISO9000, copyrights.
