Inteli joins OpenAI and Microsoft to teach artificial intelligence to leaders of large companies

Inteli, the first technology and engineering college in Brazil 100% focused on projects, launched the Compasses, free and unprecedented program focused on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, aimed at the high leadership of companies. The course developed in partnership with ITS (Software Technology Institute) takes place until October 11, at the Inteli campus in Sao Paulo, and has among the 35 students invited executives from organizations such as Meta, Totvs, RD Health and Fleury.

Among the confirmed speakers are prominent names such as Ronaldo Lemos, one of those responsible for the creation of the Marco Civil da Internet, director of the Institute of Technology and Society of Rio de Janeiro and active participant in the development of Compass; Diogo Cortiz, professor at PUC-SP and columnist at UOL of technology and innovation; Nico Robinson, head of public policies at OpenAI in Latin America and the Caribbean and first employee of the startup in the region; and Ronan Damascus, CTO of Microsoft in Brazil.

The core objective of the program is to empower leaders to argue more confidently about key emerging technologies, as well as strengthen their business-focused decision-making skills and broaden insight into the opportunities these innovations offer.

During the lectures, participants understand how AI and cybersecurity impact sectors such as energy, urban areas and can even influence the climate issue.In addition, the course brings discussions about the risks associated with privacy and governance, the future of organizations, innovations in deep tech, AI applications for increased productivity, cyber threats and defense strategies.

Executives have the opportunity to follow live demonstrations of AI and blockchain applications made by Inteli students and understand how they can leverage new products.They also participate in case studies of successes and failures in artificial intelligence implementations.

The program also brings a look to the future.The intention is to enhance the strategic decision-making of senior executives, especially regarding artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Mauricio Garcia, president of the academic board of Inteli, and one of the professors of the course, points out that Compass is an innovative initiative for integrating technical knowledge into business. “As technology advances, the gap between those who understand the business and those who master technology increases. The hybrid profile has never been more important, that is, the one that can navigate both sides. It is no longer possible to consider technology as a support department, it needs to be transversal throughout the” organization, Garcia highlights.
