In a strategic move, Duo&Co Group, one of the largest digital marketing holding companies in Latin America, announced the acquisition of Box Martech, an agency specialized in strategies and technologies for e-commerce, based in Maringa (PR). The transaction, valued at about R$ 1 million, aims to strengthen the presence of the conglomerate in the digital market, with the expectation of achieving a turnover of R$ 50 million by the end of 2024.
With the incorporation of Box Martech, Duo&Co Group adds 20 new customers to its portfolio, totaling 270 partners.In addition, Raphael Oliveira, co-founder of Box Martech, will assume the position of Head of E-commerce in the group, bringing his expertise to drive the growth of the segment.
Joao Brognoli, CEO of Duo&Co Group, highlighted the importance of the acquisition for the expansion of operations.“The martech and e-commerce area has grown exponentially.We saw at Box Martech a great competence and a significant opportunity to expand our operations.With this acquisition, we are confident that we will consolidate the Duo&Co Group as the main and most complete digital business holding company in the country”, he said.
The acquisition occurs at a time of recovery and expansion of e-commerce in the post-pandemic period.ABComm data indicate that the sector should move more than R$ 205 billion in Brazil by the end of 2024.
