Casas Bahia Group launches AI solution to become a smart WhatsApp salesperson.

Casas Bahia Group is launching Zap Casas BahIA, an artificial intelligence tool developed to enhance customer service on WhatsApp during this year's Black Friday.

The tool was created to deliver an extremely natural experience: you ask however you prefer—via text, audio, or image—and the AI instantly understands what you want. Available functions include price comparison, product usability and differentiators, providing practical guidance for product selection, much like a salesperson.

For Renato Franklin, CEO of Casas Bahia Group, this initiative reinforces a culture driven by data and customer experience. “We always evolve by listening to our customers, and technology only amplifies this listening. Zap Casas BahIA was born to understand each person's context and offer practical guidance through a simple and accessible channel. The new feature will be integrated into Super Black Ao Vivo, Casas Bahia's live commerce event that tracks audience searches in real time and uses this information to support the offers presented during the broadcast. During the live event, WhatsApp will serve as an additional contact point for those seeking real-time assistance, combining Artificial Intelligence with support from the brand's sales team.

The retailer emphasizes that the technology quickly addresses consumer needs, helping to shape the promotions for Super Black Ao Vivo. According to the CEO, this immediate insight makes the experience more assertive and relevant, allowing each person to quickly find the product and offer they are looking for.
