Getty Images, a renowned creator and global marketplace for visual content, announced the introduction of a new model for its artificial intelligence (AI) services and generators. With this update, content generation reaches speeds of about 6 seconds for 4 images, doubling the performance of the previous model.
Driven by NVIDIA's cutting-edge technology, the new model offers significant improvements in image quality and generation speed. Text instructions, or prompts‘, are now more accurate and can be longer, allowing for even greater customization according to the identity and style of each brand. The quality of the definition of the enlarged images for 4K resolution has also been improved.

The update also brings features to modify AI images, allowing adjustments to existing images generated by the tool and commercial photographs. Users can add, change or remove elements in the image, expand dimensions or remove backgrounds with a single click. These features are already available on iStock and will soon be on Getty Images.

The model update uses the NVIDIA Edify model architecture, which is part of NVIDIA Picasso, an AI foundation for creating and implementing generative AI models for visual content.
